Gil Bellows was known as Billy Thomas on the drama series
Ally McBeal. Although he was married to Georgia, he was perceived as Ally’s one true love. Ally even had an affair with him while she was in a relationship with Greg Butters. Unfortunately, his character died in the episode entitled
Boy Next Door.
After
Ally McBeal, Bellows starred as Dan Heller in the TV-movie
Second String. He also appeared on
1st to Die, The Twilight Zone, Karen Sisco, and
A Bear Named Winnie. On the drama series
Terminal City, he portrayed the role of Ari Sampson in which he starred on 10 episodes and earned a Gemini award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role. In the silver screen, he became part of several movies such as
Fast Food High as Dale White,
Blind Horizon as Dr. Theodore Conway,
How’s My Driving as Jimmy,
Zeyda and the Hitman as Jeff Klein,
Keep Your Distance as David Dailey and
The Weather Man as Don. Most recently, he starred as Lloyd Walker on the Hallmark original movie entitled
Final Days of Planet Earth, a science fiction thriller about an alien conspiracy, and on the film
Quebec, a comedy about two assistant managers of a corporate grocery store who contend for a coveted promotion.
Bellows has already completed filming the movie
Kill Kill Faster Faster. He plays the lead role of Joey One-Way, a recently paroled convict who adapts the play he wrote while in prison into the big screen. However, things get complicated as he falls in love with his new friend’s ex-con wife and enter a disastrous affair. The movie also includes Lisa Ray,
Esai Morales, Moneca Delain, Shaun Parkes, Stephen Lord, and Doña Croll. Directed by Gareth Maxwell Roberts, the film is scheduled for release this year.
