Lisa Nicole Carson was born on July 12, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Gainesville, Florida, where she studied at the F.W. Buchholz High School until she graduated in June, 1987. Her voice talents as a skilled singer helped her become a runner-up finalist during the 1986 America's Junior Miss talent and scholarship pageant held in Florida. After Carson graduated from high school, she moved to New York in order to pursue a career in acting, and also studied there at Hunter College. Among the series she has worked on are

Renee Raddick is portrayed by Lisa Carson in the Fox network's Emmy Award-winning television comedy series Ally McBeal. She eventually starts up her own law firm together with Judge Jennifer ‘Whipper' Cone.
