Jane Krakowski is a Tony Award-winning singer and actress who was born on October 11, 1968 in Parsippany, New Jersey. After studying at Parsippany High School, she went on to pursue an extensive career in acting throughout the various media of stage, film, and television. Some of the TV shows she has worked on are
30 Rock , Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Throughout her career, she has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Krakowski has likewise performed onstage in Broadway musicals such as Grand Hotel and Nine, along with having acted in the feature films Fatal Attraction, National Lampoon's Vacation, and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas.
Elaine Vassall is portrayed by Jane Krakowski in the Fox network's Emmy Award-winning television comedy series Ally McBeal.
