All My Children. Now brace yourselves for the comeback of another Pine Valley resident, when Laurence Lau revisits
All My Children as Greg Nelson, the character he portrayed from 1981 to 1986.
As Greg, Lau was one half of another beloved
All My Children romantic pair, with Kim Delaney's Jenny Gardner character as his partner. Although his lady love won't be swinging by Pine Valley along with him, Greg will get the chance to touch base with old friends Angie and Jesse, as well as his brother-in-law Tad, played by
Michael E. Knight.

"Greg and his sweetheart, Jenny Gardner [played by Kim Delaney], were one of AMC's greatest love stories: He the privileged boy next door, she the girl from the wrong side of the tracks," a spokesperson for the show recalled.
"Greg returns to Pine Valley in the midst of a life altering event for Jesse and Angie - something that will change Tad, Jesse and Angie's lives forever," the spokesperson added without revealing anything more specific.
Laurence Lau's return appearance on the daytime drama next month marks his first foray back in Pine Valley in almost 22 years. Since leaving
All My Children in 1986, Lau has also done stints with
Another World, where he completed four years as Jamie Frame from 1986 to 1990. More recently, he was part of
One Life to Live, where he essayed the part of Sam Rappaport from 2001 to 2003. Lau's brief return engagement on
All My Children begins May 20.
In other casting news, the part of Cassandra Foster, Jacob (Jesse's doppelganger) and Angie's adopted daughter, will be portrayed by Yaya DaCosta, runner-up on Cycle 3 of
America's Next Top Model. She makes her debut appearance on
All My Children April 25, as a potential romantic interest for Sterling Sulieman's Dre.
