Early next year, a lot of recurring characters will be resurfacing on Pine Valley as All My Children sets the return dates for Alicia Minshew, Colin Egglesfield, Tonya Pinkins and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Minshew, who plays Kendall Hart on All My Children, took a two-month hiatus from the show, and pre-taped scenes out of their normal sequence so that she would not be off-screen for her entire two-month hiatus.  The hiatus coincided with the return of Eden Riegel to   as Bianca Montgomery, who filled the void left by Kendall's temporary absence. Minshew recently signed a new contract with the show after rumors of her possible departure from All My Children began circulating.  She'll be returning on the set of the soap on Friday, January 9 and will finally appear on the canvas by the end of January.

Approximately two weeks before his character exits Pine Valley for good, Colin Egglesfield returns to the air during the week of January 12 to reprise his role as Josh Madden.  That same week, Tonya Pinkins reprises the role of Livia Frye, the legal eagle who will get involved with the Martin-Chandler-Carey-Hayward clan.

As for Elizabeth Rodriguez, she has moved up from recurring to contract status.  The move up in status seems odd due to the fact the actress was last seen on October 14.  Rodriguez's character will make her next sporadic appearance during the week of January 5.

In other news, Melissa Claire Egan reveals that fans can expect a nuttier Annie when her character goes on the loose.

"It's really juicy," promised Egan, whose character has this message for Greenlee, her rival for Ryan: "He can't protect you now."
