Following
Alias, Michael Vartan briefly kept a low profile but made the news when he was spotted with taped up bandages on his injured right hand. Evidently, his fingers were fractured after losing an ice-chopping bet.
At present, Michael Vartan has many acting gigs lined up. After his Alias exposure, he will return on the small screen this coming fall as one of the regulars on ABC’s
Big Shots. He will play the role of James Walker, along with
Dylan McDermott,
Christopher Titus,
Joshua Malina,
Nia Long,
Peyton List,
Jessica Collins and
Amy Sloan. In October, he will grace the big screen with the movie
Rogue as the lead character Peter McKell. Directed by Greg Mclean, the horror-thriller is about a tranquil wildlife cruise that disintegrates into terror as a group of tourists are hunted by a massive man-eating crocodile. In the same month, Vartan will be starring in the movie
Jolene, a drama based on E.L. Doctorow’s story about teenage orphans who endured ten years of cross-country traveling while they experience love and heartbreak. The said film features Vartan as Brad, alongside Jessica Chastain as Jolene, Dermont Mulroney as Uncle Phil, Chazz Palminteri as Sal, and Rupert Friend as Coco Leger.
