Mia Maestro played Nadia Santos on the television series
Alias. She was introduced in season four and then had a recurring role during the fifth season. She spent many years of her life as the subject of experimentation and committed numerous criminal acts before being exposed to the field of espionage. She was also known as the daughter resulting from an affair between Irina Derevko and Arvin Sloane, making her the half-sister of Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner). Although her character was killed off towards the end of the series, the 29-year-old actress continues to be in the spotlight with her television and film projects.

Following films like
Poseidon and
Deepwater, the former
Alias actress has mostly been cast to work on ventures for the silver screen. In the movie
The Box, which will be released later this year, Maestro plays Sasha Eccles in a story that revolves around a former detective as he leads a home invasion in search of millions of stolen money. The cast also includes A.J. Buckley (
CSI: NY) and Max Ryan.
Also expected to hit the theaters this year are Maestro's thriller movie
The Speed of Thought and the comedy
Visioneers, both of which are currently in post-production stages.
On the other hand, the former
Alias actress will also be gracing the small screen with an upcoming television pilot. The crime-drama series is called
The Man, which is about an undercover cop that struggles to find balance between his professional and personal life. The cast also includes
Melinda Clarke (
The O.C.) and LL Cool J.
