Greg Grunberg was born Gregory Phillip Grunberg on July 11, 1966 in Los Angeles, California. Having known writer/producer J.J. Abrams since they were in kindergarten, Grunberg has been in almost all of Abrams' projects. His most notable appearances are in Abrams' coming of age series, Felicity and as agent Eric Weiss on the hit spy drama, Alias. More recently, Grunberg can be seen as Matt Parkman, the down-on-his-luck LAPD police officer who can hear people's thoughts, on the phenomenal new series, Heroes.

Eric Weiss, played by Greg Grunberg on Alias, is an agent with the CIA and is close friends with fellow operative, Michael Vaughn. He is also romantically involved with Arvin Sloane's daughter and Sydney Bristow's half-sister, Nadia Santos.
