Jayanna Howeton Talks of Life After 'Age of Love'
Jayanna Howeton may not have been the perfect match for tennis star Mark Philippoussis, but this does not mean she did not find love through NBC's Age of Love.  Shortly after she was eliminated, Howeton was reacquainted with an energetic and “great-looking” gentleman she had featured on her audition tape for the reality dating series.

“I am with someone now,” Howeton told RealityWanted.net, explaining that at the time of their fateful first encounter, her new man was involved with someone else.  “Ironically, a week after I left the show, I was standing in line at a night club and he was behind me, we started talking and I found out he was single.

“I adore him, he is sweet, passionate, loving, kind and giving.  I have plans to be with him for quite a while or forever,” she continued.

Jayanna Howeton, a mortgage loan officer from Newport Beach, California, was among the older women – categorized as the Cougars – of Age of Love.  She was eliminated from the competition at the end of the sixth episode, but her experience on the show wasn't all that bad, as it gave her the opportunity to meet new people, some of whom she remains friends with to this day.

“I do stay in touch with [Age of Love runner-up] Jen [Braff], we are very close and so are Jodie [Fisher] and I; it's nice that the three of us became friends.  I also talk to Maria [Rangel] every now and then,” Howeton told RealityWanted.net.

Howeton, however, admitted that she and Braff, who has also found someone outside of Age of Love, have not stayed in touch with Philippoussis and his chosen partner, Amanda Salinas.  She even went on to say that, as far as she knows, the two are standing on rocky ground.

“I don't talk to Mark, and Jen and I don't think Amanda talks Mark.  I heard some people said they are not dating and some say they just went on vacation recently.  I do know Amanda just flew out recently to LA to see some guy.”

Of life post-Age of Love, Howeton said,  “Now that I am ready to go back to work, the mortgage business is terrible.  I have been having a great time working Hermosa Beach at the Cruze Room.  I have also been working hard on a treatment for a new show which I will be hosting.”
