READ OUR EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH DANI>> Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, 29-year-old Dani Campbell is a tomboy who thinks that she is not feminine and not butch, but a little of both. She is a firefighter who seeks the flames of love as a shy romantic. Her hobbies include watching movies, reading, camping, playing paintball, kickball and softball. A firefighter and paramedic, she used to work as a bartender back when she was in college. She enjoys her current job of saving people's lives, as it means a lot to her.
When Dani was just 1-year-old, she and her parents moved from Florida to New Orleans, Louisiana. Four years later her parents divorced, and when Dani was 9-years-old she moved with her mother to Palm Beach, Florida. One of the biggest events in Dani's young life was when she came out to her mother at the age of 16, which changed her life forever.
Before becoming a firefighter and paramedic, Dani tried her hand at bartending. She moved back to her home town of Fort Lauderdale when she was 18 to work at a local bar, which she enjoyed for about seven years while she finished up school.
Dani is featured on MTV's new bisexual dating game, A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila. Dani must surpass all challenges to win the heart of Tila Tequila.
Dani was one of the few "butch" lesbians on the show, and though Tila initially claimed she wasn't typically into butch lesbians, Dani found a place in her heart. While many fans grew a fondness for Dani, her most memorable moment on the show doesn't involve her, but her grandmother. When Tila came to visit Dani's home, she gave a lap dance to Dani's grandmother, who famously told her to "Put that little butt on these knees."
Dani was one of the final two on A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. During the finale, she continually professed her deep feelings of love for Tila, but this was not enough, as Tila chose Bobby, though she consoled Dani and promised she still had feelings for her as well.
