From Costa Mesa, California comes Brandi Ryan, a woman with a tumultuous childhood behind her. When she was only nine years old, she was taken away from her mother, who was also a lesbian, and was emancipated seven years later. A positive thinker, she believes in seeing the silver lining in every bad situation.

"Life is so short and there are so many chances that we can miss out on if we don't take up the opportunity when it’s available," Brandi Ryan said on her I Am On MTV page. "Life is too short to be angry or hateful and I believe now that holding a grudge is way too much work and not worth the end result. Live everyday as if it were going to be your last and make an impact on someone by sharing your smile."

Brandi completes the 32 contenders on MTV's new bisexual dating game, A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila, where she is to compete with 16 men and 15 women for the love and affections of Internet celebrity, Tila Tequila.
