Move over Tila Tequila
, there's a new babe in town and she comes in the form of Ashley Dupre. The 23-year-old call girl, who was at the center of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal earlier this year, is reportedly developing a cable reality series, according to E! news.
Not surprisingly, a possible concept for Dupre's series is reportedly a dating show, a la A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Although a rep for Dupre declined to comment, only stating that his client "has no TV deal," a source told E! that she is developing a reality show with Handprint Entertainment, the same company that has managed the careers of reality icons Nicole Richie
(The Simple Life
) and Pamela Anderson (Baywatch, Pam: Girl on the Loose
). Her rep would not address specifically whether she's developing a series.
"They're talking to MTV about Ashley being the next Tila Tequila," a source close to the project told E! News, referring to the network's hit television show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila
As of this point, MTV has yet to comment on the issue, while Handprint Entertainment executives could not be reached.
Unlike the Shot at Love
star who catapulted to fame by making the transition from My Space sensation to self-proclaimed bi-sexual reality TV starlet, Dupre entered the gossip circles for her involvement in the criminal investigation against Spitzer and her lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis, who allegedly exploited Dupre's name and image in the soft porn website.
Dupre initially seeked $10 million in punitive damages but later decided to to drop the suit so she could turn over a new leaf.
"Ms. Dupre wants to eliminate all negativity from her life and focus on the positive. She has prospects for many exciting new projects and is looking forward to starting a new chapter," her lawyer Richard C. Wolfe said in the statement to E! News.
