When a freshman series has already laid out its entire first season, it's often a sign that things won't end there.  Work for the upcoming season continues for he CW's 90210.  They've already started hauling in storylines, stars, and of course, directors.  For next year, Jason Priestley has been slated to helm one episode of the hit series.

Rising to fame as Brandon Walsh in the original Beverly Hills 90210, Priestley also admitted that he's been asked to make another on-screen appearance on the new show.  “They did ask, but I sort of informed them that it wasn't really anything I was that interested in,” he said.  “The reality is, they didn't really have anything very interesting for me to do.”

Apparently, Priestley didn't want to get too involved in 90210.  “Brandon Walsh was one of those characters who wouldn't just show up all of a sudden with nothing very interesting going on.  So the challenge for me going back there as an actor just wasn't going to be there.  So there's no point going back, you know what I mean?”

However, the creators of 90210 told him they had other things in mind.  Because of Priestley's extensive contributions in directing, he's been tapped to work for the series' second season.  For Priestley, this is something like a “circle of life” occasion.

“You know, it really is," he added with a laugh.  “And now the circle is complete.”

Also, jumping into that circle are the young stars of 90210.  They have with them a fresh batch of trouble, as the teen love between Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Navid (Michael Steger) will be put to danger.  Read on for spoilers.

On the upcoming episodes of 90210, teen angst will reign.  The recovering drug addict Adrianna will find herself facing the controversial issue of teen pregnancy.  A source close to the show won't spill any more secrets, but one question remains: Is Navid the daddy?

Another scoop on the series is that Adam Gregory will be returning to West Beverly High.  Portraying the charming Ty Collins, he wooed Annie (Shenae Grimes) with a flight to San Francisco for their first date.  The insider reveals that he'll be causing some trouble for one of the 90210 leading ladies.

Fans might find these worthy of their imaginations, as they continue to wonder how the stories will play out.  The answers will inevitably arrive, when 90210 returns on January 6 next year.
