If most reviewers are to be trusted, 90210 resumes tonight with all the drama that came with it in season 1. Then there's also the matter of the new characters to make things sizzle more. On tonight's kick-off, the guys - except Annie (Shenae Grimes), Navid (Michael Steger), and Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) - are forced to attend summer school after Annie anonymously called the police after the finale's after-prom party. From the looks of things, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), Silver (Jessica Stroup), and Adrianna have formed a close bond over the summer, while Annie is apparently still reeling from her hit-and-run accident.
Elsewhere on the 90210 season 2 premiere, everyone seems to hang out at the Beverly Hills Beach Club, where we finally meet the new 90210 golden boy - professional tennis player and son of a famous movie star Teddy Montgomery (Trevor Donovan). This new character will reportedly come between Adrianna and Navid.
Meanwhile, Adrianna is surprised when her childhood boyfriend and Navid organize a romantic evening with her, in an effort to get her to bed. Dixon and Silver's relationship isn't as smooth, too, despite working on it and Silver trying to patch things up. Eventually, a text message may force Dixon to end things once and for all. Finally, Naomi gets her hands on some pictures of Annie, which she will most probably use against her for revenge.
On last season's finale, it was prom night, and Adrianna and Navid spent it in the delivery room, with Brenda (Shannen Doherty) offering support. Meanwhile, Naomi and Liam (Matt Lanter) revealed their feelings for each other, and she decided to host an after-prom party at her new house. Things turned not so peachy, when Naomi accused Annie of sleeping with Liam, and Annie finally snapping at her before leaving the party in a rage. The rest, as they say, was history.
90210 returns on the CW tonight 8pm.
