Aside from being an outstanding actor, Tyler Lee Hoechlin is also an exceptional baseball player. At the age of nine, he has already represented the U.S. in the Pan American Games. He first got his break as Michael Sullivan Jr. in the hit movie Road to Perdition, starring next to Tom Hanks. His fascinating portrayal conquered almost 2,000 kids for the role. From this smash, he then plays the role of Martin Brewer in the TV show 7th Heaven.

Martin Brewer unexpectedly became a part of the Camden's life. He tagged along with Ruthie Camden to the Camden's home while everyone in the household presumed that Martin was just Simon's friend. As time passes by, Martin stays with the Camden's. He resides with them for about two years and gets involved with Sandy Jameson who he gets pregnant.
