Jane Krakowski was born on October 11, 1968 in Parsippany, New Jersey. She was popularly known for her portrayal of Elaine Vassal on the television series Ally McBeal. Previously, she appeared in films such as National Lampoon's Vacation, Fatal Attraction, Marci X, Alfie and Go to name a few. She also starred in the soap opera Search for Tomorrow where she played Theresa Rebecca Kendall. Aside from acting on the silver screen, she also starred on the Broadway revival of "Nine" for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in 2003. Moreover, she became part of the television series 30 Rock where she plays Jenna Maroney.

Jenna Maroney is a singer-actress who previously starred on The Girlie Show. She is perceived to be a "dumb blonde" who frequently uses her sexuality to get her way with men. In addition, she is paranoid about losing her job and becomes an easy target for anyone who wants to mess with her head.
