It's going to be a very good winter for talented women. NBC comediennes Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been named the co-hosts of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards while hip-hop superstar Beyonce will headline the Super Bowl halftime show this year.

Fey and Poehler will take over hosting duties from Ricky Gefvais, who has emceed the gala for the past three years. Fey is a two-time Golden Globe winner for her work on 30 Rock while Poehler received her first Golden Globe nomination last year for Parks and Recreation.

The pair have extensive experience from their time on Saturday Night Live (and both have returned to the show as hosts after leaving). The 70th Golden Globe Awards will air Sunday, January 13 on NBC.

Equally exciting are reports that Beyonce has been tapped to perform during this year's Super Bowl halftime show, an honor that is long overdue for the crowd-pleasing, Grammy-winning singer.

This will mark Beyonce's first time as the halftime entertainment, but not her first association with the Super Bowl. She sang the National Anthem for the 2004 game.

Super Bowl XLVII will air Sunday, February 3 on CBS.

Which female performance are you more excited for, the Baby Mama stars hosting the Golden Globes or Beyonce taking on the Super Bowl?
