The feud between 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and his ex-wife, Academy-Award winner Kim Basinger, further escalated after Baldwin’s furious voicemail to their 11-year old daughter, Ireland, was released by TMZ.com late Wednesday.

Following the exposure of the recording, Baldwin’s spokesperson stated that the 49-year old actor will be "keeping his mouth shut and obeying court orders.”

The voicemail, which had been left on Ireland’s cellphone, ran for two minutes, with Baldwin angrily criticizing his daughter for not answering his pre-arranged call. The 30 Rock actor referred to his daughter as a “rude, thoughtless little pig,” and also said that she doesn’t “have the brains or the decency as a human being.”

Baldwin also had some harsh words for Basinger in the recording, having added, "your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."

Basinger’s attorneys have failed to return phone calls, but Baldwin’s spokesperson said, "The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order… Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

A lawyer for Baldwin, Vicki Greene, told Showbuzz that when she found out that TMZ.com would be releasing the voicemail, which was among sealed court material, she immediately contacted TMZ’s managing editor, Harvey Levin. She warned Levin that if he went through with his plans, he would be in violation of a court order. The website posted the recording anyway.

Baldwin, who portrays television executive Jack Donaghy on the hit NBC series, 30 Rock, and Basinger have been divorced since 2002, and for the past years have been involved in several legal disputes, one of which has been over the custody of their only child, Ireland. In October, Basinger was charged with contempt of court for going against terms that were set in a 2004 custody agreement.
