As a lady who doesn't know much about sports, isn't from the Northeast, doesn't wear hats and only knows the names of professional athletes if they're involved in a sex scandal or date a Kardashian, it would seem that I am about as far away from New Era's target demo as I could be.
But I do love primetime comedies, and the sexy, funny leading men who star in them. Which is why I bring you this New Era commercial starring
30 Rock's Alec Baldwin and
The Office's John Krasinski. I could listen to these two banter about anything, and I have a feeling that is
exactly New Era's strategy in hiring these two as their new spokes-duo, representing the age-old Yankees/Red Sox rivalry. Even though I have no stake in the matter, I can still appreciate a good banter session when I see one. So good job, New Era! Way to give us comedy nerds (and ladiezzzz) a break. We might not buy too many hats, but we will watch your new commercial:
Trash talking with Alec and John! If I buy a hat, can we make this a three-way call?

The Office finally return this Thursday after a brief spring hiatus. Watch a
sneak peek of Office special guest Will Ferrell, and get ready for the return of Tracy to "TGS," as Liz and Kenneth will go into "detective mode" to find his hiding place on this Thursday's episode, "I Heart Connecticut."
