I have a friend who refuses to watch movie previews. In the theater, on TV, it doesn't matter; he will not watch them. He will close his eyes, put his hands over his ears. Sure, this may be bizarre behavior, but I actually envy it. I wish I could have the desire to not know crucial information about films that I may end up seeing. This wasn't a problem twenty years ago. It is only recently that film previews have begun to give whole movies away, ruining surprises, often deeming the entire first act unnecessary viewing. This trend emerges from the ADD-addled MTV culture that, me being a part of it, is something that I can recognize as, well, bad. I understand this (the overwhelming need to KNOW things), but it still pisses me off that film studios will throw artistic integrity out the window because the marketing department says it's a good idea. This preview trend has now made its way to television. The "Scenes from Next Week" that follow one hour dramas are now ubiquitous, giving away crucial plot points from the next episode. These previews are addicting, especially after a show like 24, which leaves you always wanting more. I usually try to avoid the 24 "Scenes from Next Week", but, for some reason, I caught them this week. And, you know what? The preview has given us more spoilers for next week's 24 episode than we were likely to find anywhere else. The following are spoilers gleaned completely from the preview for next week's 24. Enjoy.

• President Palmer gets fed up with Tom's antics and refuses to put more middle easterners in detention camps.
• Tom is now the puppet of some puppeteer who wants to pull off a Hitler and cleanse the American population of Middle Easterners.
• Jack and Pops are led to a killing field where they are going to be shot in the head from behind.
• Jack and Pops miraculously manhandle the idiotic mercenaries and shoot them instead.
• Jack and Pops go after Graem.
• Jack finally gets Graem and starts torturing him for more information.
• Turns out Graem is much further into the nukes than first imagined.
• Abu Fayed finds a nuclear physicist that can now re-activate the bombs.
• The bombs will be set to go and this time there will be no mistakes.
• Jack now has to find a way to get to the bombs before they are set.
