Kim Raver as Audrey Raines
Kimberly Jayne “Kim” Raver was born on March 15, 1969 in New York City. At the age of six, she started appearing regularly on the popular children's television series, Sesame Street. Raver left the show when she was nine years old, and thereafter became a part of Off-Off-Broadway's first all-children theater.
Raver, who graduated from Boston University with a degree in Fine Arts, launched her adult acting career by appearing in commercials for Visa and Jeep. She then landed a role in the Broadway production of
Holiday, wherein she acted opposite Laura Linney and Tony Goldwyn. She also shared the big screen with actor Al Pacino in the film,
City Hall.
On the small screen, Raver has also tasted great success, having appeared in a variety of television series, including
Trinity,
The Practice,
Spin City,
Law & Order,
Central Park West,
ER and
The Nine. She also worked on several made-for-tv films, such as
Haunting Sarah and
Menendez: A Killing in Beverly Hills.
Best known for her portrayal of Kim Zambrano on the television series, Raver stayed with the show for five years before joining the cast of another hit television series,
24. Her role on
24 earned her (and the rest of the
24 cast) 2007 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Raver has also undertaken several big screen projects, including the 2006 blockbuster hit,
Night At the Museum, where she starred opposite Ben Stiller. She was also seen in the films
Martin & Orloff,
Mind the Gap,
Keep Your Distance and
Prisoner.
At present, she is married to Manuel Boyer, with whom she has one son. Raver is trilingual, being fluent in English, French and German. She still takes time to train in stage acting with her teacher and mentor, Wynn Handman.
