The Lady Madame President visits the hospital and talks to Henry's surgeon. The doctor says that Henry's chances aren't good, and he's looking at a minimum of four hours of surgery. She talks to him briefly as he is led into surgery. Allison Taylor is very sad. Allison asks Bill to get someone to find her daughter, Olivia, and bring her to the hospital. Allison and her daughter haven't spoken in some time. Olivia works for a consulting firm.
Walker shows Marika a number of incriminating pictures of Dubaku, examples of how evil a human being he is. They're going to use Marika to get to Dubaku. Marika doesn't think she can talk to him, and she starts freaking out – then he calls. Marika answers the phone. Dubaku senses something is wrong, but Marika covers by saying that she got in an argument with Rosa. A car is coming to pick Marika up. The only way to find Dubaku is to have Marika get in that car with Dubaku so Jack can track them. Marika agrees to do it, really easily. Rosa freaks out. She doesn't want her sister to go.
Jack calls Chloe to do the tracking for him. Janis, being suspicious, tries to override security and spy on what Chloe is doing. She can't make it work, however.
Olivia Taylor is played by
Jericho star
Sprague Grayden. She has a smarmy conversation with some old guy in a lobby. Hey! Aaron is back! Nice! He has been sent by Bill to pick Olivia up. She is not happy, and wants to know what has happened before she goes with him. Aaron tells her that her father has been shot. They go to the car.
Janis is still suspicious. She asks Sean for the key to the server. Janis thinks Chloe has been brought in to replace her. He blackmails him with the knowledge of he and Erica's affair. He begrudgingly gives her this magic key. Sean calls her “a little bitch,” which I found humorous.
Jack and Marika leave the apartment, the tracking is ready. Jack gets Marika ready. She isn't supposed to say anything. Jack and Renee get into a little snit. More clashing of world-views. The car arrives, and Marika gets in. Jack has Chloe in his ear, will be giving Jack directions for the road. Meanwhile, Janis gains access to whatever Chloe is working on.
Marika rides nervously in the back of her car. She asks the driver how much further. The driver does not reply. Janis is listening in, but when someone comes into the server room, Janis rips out the server and Chloe loses her connection. They get it back, but Chloe realizes someone had broken into the server.
Soon after, Jack and Renee are surrounded by Metro policemen. It seems like Janis had called all this in. However, after Janis talks to Sean about what Chloe was up to, Sean Hillinger calls the white guy from earlier in the episode and tells him that he's taken care of Bauer and Walker. Sean is the mole!
Dubaku gets a call from the white guy, who informs him that Marika has been turned by the FBI and that they'll take care of her. Dubaku says no, he will do it himself, regardless of how that might effect his chances of escaping the country. Beep, boop, beep, boop...
