24: Episode 7.16 "11:00pm to 12:00am" Recap (Page 2/2)
Tony, bloodied and tied up, is asked if he thought about Hodges' offer.  The random henchman is then shot by Number Two.  He wants Tony to help him – Number Two thinks this has gone too far, that Jonas is crazy.  Now, he wants to stop Hodges and he doesn't want to spend his life in jail.  Tony says they need to call the FBI if Number Two wants immunity.  They head to Number Two's office.  Rather convenient.

On the ride into the FBI, the CDC gal receives the results of Jack's blood work and shows it to him. He gives a sigh, a little shrug of disbelief.

Renee is out of holding, and is told by Janis that Jack is here and he's not in quarantine.  Yippee!  Or not.  Jack gets out of the elevator.  He runs into Renee and tells her that the tests came back positive. He's been infected, but he's not contagious.  The CDC lady says that Jack is Patient Zero, and they'll learn a lot from the tests they run on him.  However, there is no cure.  Jack will die?  Jack slumps back in his chair after a quick chat with Renee.

Number Two and Tony enter an office in Starkwood.  He talks to Jonas first, and tells him that they're still working on Almeida.  Number Two weirdly defends Jonas, but it's not convincing.  He sets up a secure line to call the FBI.

Moss gives his condolences to Renee in regards to Jack.  She has to debrief Jack.  Moss is connected to Tony Almeida from the Starkwood HQ.  Tony talks to Moss, tells him the situation.  Tony is told about Jack.  Moss goes to call the Prez to negotiate Seaton's (aka Number Two) immunity.

President Taylor and Olivia watch video footage from Sangala of weapons testing.  Locals die from the biological testing.  They act like they have Mad Cow Disease.  Taylor sermonizes about the evils of companies like Starkwood.  Mercenaries are bad, moral of the story.  Taylor beats herself up for allowing a company like Starkwood to exist.  Taylor gets the call from Moss in regards to Seaton's immunity.  Moss explains the situation.  Taylor give the OK for an invasion from the FBI on Starkwood, she signs the immunity agreement, and will supplement the FBI raid with some Navy seals.  Moss says they can be at Starkwood within ten minutes.

Seaton gives the coordinates to the biological weapons to the FBI as they get the strike mobilized.  Jack tells Moss that he wants to go.  “I've earned this,” Jack says.  Moss says no, that he doesn't know when Jack's symptoms might start to show.  Jack is hit hard by this, but admits that Moss is right.  He walks away, dramatically takes his coat off.

Tony and Seaton drive in a jeep to another part of the compound to do some re-con.  Tony knocks out an armed guard, and they enter into some outdoor storage area.  Tony looks at the warehouse that houses the weapon.  Jonas is in there, along with munitions team.  Jonas motivates his team – they've intercepted an FBI transmission.  They know the Feds are coming.  Tony talks to Moss on the radio. The FBI is almost there.

Moss takes his phalanx of helicopters into Starkwood's compound.  Hodges hears the choppers and contemplates what we can only assume to be deep thoughts.  Soldiers and FBI agents repel from the copters and approach the warehouse.  The two armed guards stand down and are led away from the door.  They blast the door open and head inside. There's no one there.  Moss yells at Seaton, demands to know where the weapons are.  Seaton tells Moss that Tony threatened to kill him, and that he only told Tony what Tony wanted to hear.  Seaton played Tony, apparently, but Moss still believes Tony's telling him the truth.

Hodges watches all this on video, and expresses his approval of Seaton, who has now bought Hodges and company some time.

Moss tells his team that they are going to search the compound.  Then, all of a sudden, a bunch of Starkwood tanks show up and surround Moss and his agents.  A Starkwood dude gets out and tells Moss and his people to leave, that they have no cause to search, that it's private property, that the claims of having biological weapons is absurd, and that if the forces do not stand down, they will be fired upon.  Beep-boop, beep-boop...
