Sandra Palmer

Regina King as Sandra Palmer

Sandra Palmer is the sister of President Wayne Palmer and the deceased David Palmer. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Justice, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. Sandra serves a board member of the Thurgood Marshall Law Library’s Historical Society for Publications of the United States Commission of Civil Rights. Being an activist, she had some prior trouble with law, but did not receive any convictions due to David’s presidency.

After completing her law studies, Sandra followed David’s footsteps and gained employment at Fidley, Barrrow & Bain, Attorney at Law. Afterwards, Sandra provided legal counseling to David while he was in the United States House of Representatives, and followed that with a job as the Civil Liberties Commission’s legal advisor. Her other legal endeavors include being one of the American Constitutional Society for Law and Policy’s guest lecturers and as the White House Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board’s advisor.

On Day 6, Sandra again faced officers of the law, this time from the Federal Agencies. The agents were after Sandra’s Muslim boyfriend and client, Walid Al-Rezani, and in his defense, Sandra erased the files that the agents were asking for. Walid was then detained, roughed up and was ordered to go on an undercover mission that was geared towards obtaining information regarding terrorists in the area.

After Sandra took care of Walid, she went to visit her other brother, President Wayne Palmer, who was lying in an induced coma in the White House medical room. Palmer had been the victim of an assassination attempt, and when Karen Hayes informed Sandra of the probability of a nuclear attack, Sandra was forced to take David out of his comatose, and after he awoke and resumed his presidency, Sandra went back to Walid.
