Carlo Rota as Morris O'Brian
Morris O’Brian, on the television series 24, is portrayed by Carlo Rota. Morris is the ex-husband of CTU Agent Chloe O’Brian and a former salesman of the Beverly Hills Branch of Saks Fifth Avenue. He speaks with an English accent and has a reputation for being a ladies man.
His previous work experience in the government includes being a CTU Analyst in the Seattle Domestic Unit, an M16 Senior Analyst and doing freelance intelligence gathering. He was reunited with Chloe after she contacted him on Day 5. Chloe was asking for his help in obtaining evidence that implicated President Logan, but he later found out that what Chloe actually wanted him to do was to disrupt CTU communication lines. He agreed to do so and even brought former CTU agent Jack Bauer the materials that were needed to record President Logan’s confession.
He started working full-time as an Intelligence Agent for CTU-Los Angeles on Day 6, despite Director Bill Buchanan’s initial hesitance of hire Morris back. Morris has often clashed with his superior, Milo Pressman, and at first had a difficult time getting along with Chloe. His strained relationship with Chloe has hinted on Morris’ disloyalty to Chloe when they were still married.
When Chloe’s dear friend, Edgar Stiles, died after falling victim to a series of nerve gas attacks, Morris was the one who provided some emotional support to Chloe. Eventually Morris and Chloe decided to give their relationship another chance, and since Milo used to date Chloe, Morris has found it difficult to remain civil with Milo.
Some time during Day 6, Morris was captured by terrorist Abu Fayed, and was beaten and tortured until he agreed to help Fayed program one of suitcase bombs. He was eventually rescued by Jack Bauer, but his tremendous guilt led him to revert back to his old alcohol addiction.
