Eric Balfour as Milo Pressman

Milo Pressman, on the television series 24, is played by Eric Balfour. Eric is the Internet Protocol Manager of the Counter Terrorist Unit, Los Angeles Domestic Unit. He used to hold the same position in the Denver Division of CTU.

Milo is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in Information Systems. He is proficient in numerous computer programs, including Perl, Python, Java, C/C++ and LISP. His expertise in Infosec technologies has also earned him a strong reputation in CTU.
He began working for the CTU as an analyst for the Los Angeles Division, and then went on to become a Senior Analyst at the Denver Division. Just before he was requested to return to Los Angeles, Milo was a programmer analyst for SynthTech Corporation. His services were needed in CTU-Los Angeles because a keycard that contained the identity of an assassin could not be decoded. He eventually cracked the keycard and informed Agent Jack Bauer about the possible suspects, one of which was Alexis Drazen. At the end of Day 1, Milo also told Jack about the death of NSA operative Robert Ellis.

When Edgar Stiles became one of the victims of the nerve gas attacks, Milo took over Edgar’s position and was considered the new Internet Protocol Manager. He has had a difficult time interacting with one of his men, Morris O’Brian, mainly because he briefly dated Morris’ ex-wife, CTU agent Chloe O’Brian.

Milo has also developed feelings for CTU operative Nadia Yassir, and even defended her when she was accused of being a mole. Despite his efforts to save Nadia from being terminated, Director Bill Buchanan removed Nadia from the CTU premises. Nadia was later cleared of the accusation, and Milo decided to finally act on his feelings and engaged Nadia in a passionate kiss.
