Glenn Morshower as Aaron Pierce
Aaron Pierce is portrayed by Glenn Morshower in the series,
24. is a retired Secret Service Special Agent affiliated with the United States Secret Service. He is an assuming yet honorable character, and a proud former navy of the United States who was eventually tasked to guard the former Presidents David Palmer, John Keeler and Charles Logan.
Aaron first became a member of the United States Secret Service when former President Ronald Reagan was serving his second presidential term. Following many years of service, he was assigned to protect David Palmer (who was only a senator at that time). Aaron then saved Palmer from two assassination attempts throughout the course of Day 1. Aaron also encountered Jack Bauer on two separate occasions, once during the first assassination attempt and the second during a sting operation. Aaron remained loyal to David even after Jim Prescott was sent in to replace David as the president on Day 2. After being replaced, David asked Aaron to help him contact Jack Bauer, which consequently, got Aaron arrested and detained by Mike Novick. His loyalty to David paid off, as he was immediately reinstated when Palmer reassumed the presidency.
From there, Aaron continued to stay by David’s side, supporting David in every decision that he made. Later on, when Charles Logan took over the presidency on Day 4, Aaron had no choice but to join Logan’s security detail, and eventually was tasked to lead the said security detail on Day 5. As the Secret Service Agent in charge, Aaron’s suspicions regarding Walt Cummings grew, and later, with Jack’s help, Aaron found out that Walt had helped terrorist Vladimir Bierko acquire numerous Sentox nerve gas canisters, which were later used during a series of terrorist attacks around the city. After Aaron saved Russian Presidential couple Yuri and Anya Suvarov, First Lady Martha Logan told Aaron that Charles had known about the attacks but did not do anything to stop them. Ultimately, Aaron, despite having been abducted and tortured, was able to implicate Charles by helping Jack obtain a confession.
As the months passed, Aaron began to engage in a romantic relationship with Martha, ultimately sharing a home with her. Nevertheless, when Charles contacted Aaron and pleaded to speak with Martha, Aaron acted as Martha and Charles’ middle man.
