After a brief hiccup 24 is back in the saddle and more intriguing than ever. How can you top the unbelievable twists of last weeks episode? Where can 24 go from here? Is Logan really dead? As we know, going to code doesn't necessarily mean that someone has passed on to the other side. Even though Tony is awesome. It would be really stupid if he was shill alive.
The official description goes something like this:
The nuclear threat has unexpected consequences while the investigation into the remaining nukes accelerates. As terrorists Gredenko and Fayed discuss their strategies, the Administration copes with the worsening situation during the ongoing power shifts. CTU commands newcomer Mike Doyle and Jack Bauer on an intense field operation as the clock continues to race in the Day 6: 8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. episode of 24
The unexpected consequences are fairly well known to spoiler fans. CTU gets hacked and the drone does not deliver an exploding bomb. Which will no doubt be a surprise to everyone from Gredenko on down.
The super mega huge surprises come in the cast list:
Cast: Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe OBrian, James Morrison as Bill Buchanan, DB Woodside as President Wayne Palmer, Jayne Atkinson as Karen Hayes, Carlo Rota as Morris OBrian, Peter MacNicol as Thomas Lennox, Regina King as Sandra Palmer, Eric Balfour as Milo Pressman and Marisol Nichols as Nadia Yassir.
Guest Cast: Powers Boothe as Vice President Noah Daniels, Chad Lowe as Reed Pollock, Adoni Maropis as Abu Fayed, Gregory Itzin as President Charles Logan, Rick Schroder as Mike Doyle and Rade Sherbedgia as Dmitri Gredenko.
Notice who's still in there? Prez Logan. Obviously the Prez is a alive and well. Could the whole thing have been a rouse? It would be cool to see some gritty bad pres Logan action again. But only next week will tell.
Now for the wild rumor report: Tony Almeida will return this season. Can I just say, Tony rising from the dead would not be cool. Talk about stretching credibility to the snapping point. How do these rumors get started? Somewhere on Carlos Bernard fan sites I would guess.
