'24' Spoiler Alert: One Won't Make It To New York, Plus More (Probably Smaller) Finale Details
If yesterday's 24 finale spoilers aren't enough, then take heart: there are more.  Cue evil laugh.  Okay.  Well, they aren't really as big as the last time, or at least that's how I see them, but nevertheless they won't hurt much, right?  Well, unless you're pretty averse to spoilers.  So, I'll just cut to the chase--unless you'd rather find everything out when the finale airs this Monday on Fox, we've got more details courtesy of Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.  And, yes, here goes the obligatory spoiler warning.  They're after the cut.  Click if you must.

Detail number one: Renee will be doing a lot of stuff in the two-hour finale.  "[She] is all over the place in these last two episodes," Annie Wersching revealed.  "I got to do my favorite stunt [of the season], and they let me do it myself.  It involves hanging off of a car and shooting and saving someone.  It was really cool."  Could that someone be Jack (Kiefer Sutherland)?  Maybe Tony (Carlos Bernard)?

Detail number two: one character will not make it to the eighth season.  Oh, no, I don't think it'll be a death--that scenario seems unlikely.  Janis (Janeane Garofalo) is that character in question.  "I think the secret of this show is knowing when characters have had their story," executive producer Howard Gordon said.  "And to transpose everybody [from Washington D.C. to New York] starts feeling very coincidental.  Even getting Chloe there ... you have to explain how she got from Washington to New York and what happened.  You can't do that for everybody."  Sad seeing that we won't see the Janis-Chloe putdowns next year, but, oh well.  Good things, after all, never last.

Detail number three: something about, yeah, Tony.  Yes, I know many of you are dismayed after seeing what he ended up doing this year--from dead guy to bad guy to good guy to worse guy.  But, a plea from the folks at 24: reserve judgment until the very end.  "I know right now they are kind of upset that he's bad, but it all kind of becomes clear in episode 24," said executive producer Jon Cassar.  "We really wanted [the season] to end with Tony and Jack, and that's how it's going to end."  Gordon adds: "If people are disappointed or don't like [how Tony's story ends], too bad."

Again, 24's two-hour seventh season finale airs on Monday, from 8pm, on Fox.  If you haven't seen the photos, well, you can right below.
