24 made its triumphant return to television screens last night, and the general consensus seems to be positive.  My friends who are 24 fans were all on board with the first two hours of season 7, and agreed that it was more than enough to keep watching.  However, if you thought last night was good, tonight's episodes will really impress you.  It felt like vintage 24 out there tonight.  Twists and turns aplenty, coupled with some great action.  We left yesterday off with Jack capturing old ally turned domestic terrorist Tony Almeida.  You will fidn a full recap of tonight's 24 episodes below.  Enjoy.

Episode 7.3 Recap

The president is informed of Tony Almeida and his capture by Jack Bauer.  She is then informed that
they have received a message from General Dubaku.  He says that he has the module, that magic device.  He demands that the United States pull out all troops from Sangala in the next 24 hours, or else he will inflict much damage on the United States and its people.  Taylor doesn't want to negotiate, but the firewall cannot be rebuilt in time.  Impossible decisions, Madame Lady President.

Moss, Jack Bauer and Agent Walker arrive at the FBI offices via helicopter with Tony Almeida in tow.  Moss is irate that Walker went rogue – Walker explains that there is a mole.  Moss buys into it.  Jack explains that they need to tighten the access to Almeida.  Jack is wearing some bad ass Aviators right now.  Jack is suspicious of Moss.

Janis gets Tony prepped for interrogation.  He's hooked up to a bunch of crap.  Moss tells Janis to help find “the leak,” which probably means that Janis is the leak.  But, that'd be too obvious, right?  I'm guessing it's Moss.  Tony glares a steely glare, shows no emotion.

Back at Dubaku's headquarters, the white guy baddies discuss Tony's incarceration.  They are thinking about using their asset inside the FBI.  Dubaku is pissed that the armed forces have yet to evacuate Sangala.

Moss tells Walker that Almeida was working for Dubaku.  Jack hears this, and says that he can get the information out of Tony.  LET JACK INTERROGATE!  IT'S WHAT HE DOES BEST!!!  Moss reluctantly allows it.  Jack and Tony, alone in the room.  He asks Tony to explain how he's still alive.  Tony won't talk.  Tony says Dubaku is serious.  Jack doesn't believe that Tony was only in it for the money.  Tony hates the government, and what it allowed Charles Logan to do with Michelle.  Tony starts twisting the knife.

“Every second you help the government you're spitting on Teri's grave.”

Jack accosts him, slams him against the wall and starts to choke him.  He gets this out of Tony: “Deep Sky.”  Jack calls Deep Sky (apparently it's a old CTU code).  Guess who's on the other line – it's Bill Buchanan.  He's with Chloe O'Brian.  TONY IS GOOD!  He's undercover, working with the old crew.  Holy crap!

Henry Taylor, the First Husband, gets back to the White House.  Ethan tells him that his wife needs him.  It goes back to the son.  Henry is adamant that it was murder.  Ethan drops some news – his son was about to be investigated for insider trading before killing himself.  Henry doesn't know what to think now.  Ethan goes to see the president.  They're thinking about the demands.  To meet the demands, they have to start pulling out troops by 1pm.

Apparently, it's “Sangalans.”  I would've guessed “Sangalese.”

Taylor isn't ready to decide – they must explore every possible option.

Chloe has set up a secure line to call Jack.  Bill tells Jack that Tony is working deep undercover.  The government is corrupt, and the president's inner circle has people on Dubaku's payroll.  Bill and Chloe and Tony are working outside of the government, no agency is involved.  Jack now has to figure out a way to escape the FBI with Tony in hand.  Bill drives to the headquarters to pick them up.

Henry gets a call from Samantha, Roger's girlfriend.  She tells him that Roger wasn't murdered, but actually did commit suicide.

Moss interrogates Tony, shows him pictures of genocide in Sangala.  Tony will not back down.  Walker tells Moss that he's not going to break.  Moss gets pissy when Walker brings up stronger coercion tactics, and tells Walker to get Bauer out of the building and back in custody.  Janis stops Walker, and tells her that she may have found the leak.  Janis goes to the main computer room (just like the one at CTU) and finds out that Sean Hillnger (aka Billy Walsh) was the one who broke into the FAA database.    Sean corners her and tells her why he broke into the FAA database – his wife is on one of the airborne planes.  She buys it.

Chloe calls Jack – she watches the security cameras and is ready to loop them to allow Jack to escape.  Walker comes into Jack's room for the debrief and Jack puts her in a sleeper hold.  “Don't fight it,” he warns.  Bill is on the way.  Jack sets out for the mission.  He breaks into the interrogation room, gets Moss and the security guard to put down their weapons.  Tony is uncuffed and they punch and kick the two dudes unconscious.  It's now a cat and mouse game.  Jack and Tony share a private moment in hiding.

Sean and Janis notice that someone (Chloe) has hacked into the security system.  They reset the system and see the carnage in the interrogation room.  They set off the alarms and the agents come running.  Jack and Tony hide.  They manage to get into the stairwell, quietly.  They find Jack and Tony on the camera, but Chloe breaks back in.  Jack and Tony get on the roof of the parking lot, and into the parking garage.  They get into a gunfight.  Jack covers Tony as he rendezvous with Bill.  Jack hotwires a car and drives it down two stories outside.  He hobbles into the car with Tony and Bill.  They drive away.  Beep-boop, beep-boop...
