The 2017 Emmy Awards are here. Before the primetime ceremony, the two-night Creative Arts Emmys were held to recognize the best technical achievements. On Sunday, the second half of the 2017 Creative Arts Emmys took place, celebrating scripted shows with major categories like Guest Acting.

In total at the Creative Arts Emmys this year, Saturday Night Live, Westworld and Stranger Things all won five awards, more than any other shows.

2017 Creative Arts Emmy Winners, Night 1>>>

For Comedy, Saturday Night Live hosts Dave Chappelle and Melissa McCarthy both won Emmys. Chappelle hosted the post-election episode while McCarthy received raves for playing Sean Spicer. Obviously there was a Trump bump.

For Drama, Alexis Bledel, another Gilmore Girls alum like Melissa McCarthy, won Guest Actress for The Handmaid's Tale, one of that show's three wins. And veteran actor Gerald McRaney picked up the sole Emmy for This Is Us as Dr. K.
