With Comic-Con merely weeks away now, it's time to start thinking about exactly which panels and screenings to attend. The networks and production studios are well aware of this and are already doing their best to lure unsuspecting conventioneers to their shows. Among those vying for your attendance are FOX's Terra Nova and NBC's Grimm.

Dinosaurs Come to Comic-Con!
On the audiovisual front, Terra Nova definitely gets the win for their invitation. Other shows issue press releases and tout the famous folk on the panel. Not Terra Nova. They made a video specifically for the event:

OK, so we're not talking about an in-depth video that gives away a bunch of key points about plot and character. But you've got to give the Terra Nova people credit for excellence in mixing show clips with Comic-Con footage. I'm now slightly worried that the producers are going to somehow let dinosaurs loose amidst the booths of the San Diego Convention Center.

Actually that would be pretty cool.

Alas, it's not likely to happen, the sad realities of science being what they are. There will, however, be a screening of the pilot episode at Comic-Con, along with a panel featuring actor Stephen Lang and producers Brannon Braga, Rene Echevarria and Jose Malina. Although the official Comic-Con schedule has not yet been released, the panel is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 23.

Who's Afraid of Grimm?
They don't have quite the same level of video enticement yet, but Grimm, a new NBC show, wants your Comic-Con attention as well.

The show, which follows the adventures of a police detective who chases fairy tale villains in addition to the more normal, everyday kinds of criminals, will be screened in San Diego.

Along with the pilot screening, there will be a panel discussion with the show's producers -- David Greenwalt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jim Kouf (Angel) -- and cast -- David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee and Sasha Roiz.
