The program 10 Years Younger starts by introducing the participant and their story behind his or her “old” façade. Subsequently, the host invites 100 people to guess the age of the participant as she or he stands inside “the box” which is a soundproof clear display case, along a crowded street. These guesses are then averaged and the average is regarded as the "age" of the participant. Knowing the regarded “age”, the show must now make him or her look 10 years younger than the said “age” and not his or her actual age. To make the transformation possible, the glam squad consisting of hairstylist Jenn MacDonald and make-up artist Damone Roberts takes over with a plan to take a decade off the participant’s look in a span of 10 days. After the makeover from the glam squad, as well as Hollywood’s best doctors and dentists who specializes on the latest non-surgical dermatological and dental innovations, the participant sets foot in the box and exposes his or her new appearance to a new set of strangers, attempting to see if they would regard him or her as “10 years younger.”

10 Years Younger is produced by Dean Minerd, Terri Johnson, Douglas Ross, Kathleen French and Greg Stewart. It airs weekdays at 1 PM ET/PT on TLC.
