John Lehr was born on November 25, 1967 in Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he acquired a degree in theater. After college, he starred in several Chicago theatrical productions like The Filmdome, ED and The Chris Hogan Show. Aside from being an actor, he also worked as a producer and screenwriter who previously toured the country and landed TV guest spots and minor film roles. Ultimately, he became part of the comedy series 10 Items or Less as Leslie Pool. After the death of his father, Leslie Pool inherits the Greens & Grains grocery store.
