Although
Jennifer Elise Cox is popularly known for her portrayal of ditzy and eccentric characters, she has positively honed herself to be worthy of more mature and challenging roles. Charmingly pretty, she has grown to be one of the crowd’s favorite actresses. At present, she is part of the television show
10 Items or Less.
Born on November 29, 1969 in New York, Jennifer Elise Cox previously worked in two operas such as
Don Giovanni and
Madame Butterfly. As an actress, she worked in a number of films but was best known for her role as Jan Brady in
The Brady Bunch Movie and
A Very Brady Sequel. Her other credits included
The Enigma with a Stigma, Bewitched, Dropping Out, Edtv, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and
Sometimes They Come Back…Again just to name a few. She also spanned the field of television as she guest starred on
CSI: NY,
The New Adventures of Old Christine,
Will & Grace and
Sex & the City.
Cox plays Amy Anderson on the comedy series
10 Items or Less. On the show, she portrays a manager of the Super Value Mart, which is the number competitor of Greens and Grains grocery store. Although she went to high school with Leslie Pool, she considers him as a bleak rival and an amateur in the food business. She depicts a self-assured and over confident character that is determined to do whatever it takes to succeed in her ventures and triumph over her competitors. Her witty punch lines and comedic antics certainly make the show a blast.
