A student of Quincy Senior High School, Anthony Acito has spent most of his life in his hometown, Quincy, Massachusetts. With his remarkable voice, he has been named a veteran of real life school musicals. He does, however, admit that dancing is not his strong suit, but he knows he gives more than a hundred percent to what he does. He also draws inspiration from the late comedian Chris Farley’s work on Saturday Night Live. Having dreams of being a comedian is not enough for the affable Anthony. Some of his other hobbies include sports like volleyball, basketball, and football. He is also an avid coin collector, and has also expressed dreams of being a theater teacher.
Battling his way through a tough crowd of talent, Anthony Acito made it and was chosen as one of the 12 finalists for the ABC reality series High School Musical: Get in the Picture. Hosted by actor and musician Nick Lachey, the series follows the efforts of the teenage contestants to win the ultimate prize for a High School Musical fan. The winner will get to star in his or her own music video featured in the end credits of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and receive a chance to have a recording contract for two singles with Walt Disney Records.
