Anna Trebunskaya appears as a professional dancer on ABC's dance competition series Dancing with the Stars. She began training as a dancer in her native homeland of Russia when she was six years old, following a daily regimen in the dance studio that her parents owned. She participated in and won her first competition when she reached the age of seven, and has competed as an amateur and then a professional ever since.
She moved to the United States together with her parents when she was 17 years old. Her father and her mother were both professional ballroom dancers, with her mother still continuing to design and create costumes up to the present. She is married to
Jonathan Roberts , who was her former dancer partner. The pair performed on the Dancing with the Stars results shows in its first three seasons.
Presently based in San Jose, California, Trebunskaya’s main dancing styles are ballroom and Latin. Among her achievements and awards are being a finalist in the 2003 Blackpool Rising Star competition, and winning as the 2004 USA Rising Star Latin Champion.

Jerry Rice , where they finished in second place. On season 5, she was paired with model Albert Reed, where they were the second couple eliminated. On season 6, Trebunskaya is paired with actor
Steve Guttenberg .
