Angie Harmon was born on August 10, 1972 in Highland Park, Texas to models Lawrence Paul Harmon, who is German and Native American, and Daphne Demar Caravageli, who is part Greek. As a child, she was already modeling, and even won a Seventeen magazine modeling contest. A few years later she pursued her modeling career and modeled for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan. She also appeared on covers of ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Esquire. In 1995, she began acting and started appearing on television series, including Baywatch Nights, Baywatch and C-16: FBI. She preferred acting in movies instead of in television so she opted to do film projects such as Agent Cody Banks. She also appeared in some minor films. Her later projects include a pilot for Secrets of a Small Town in 2006 and her role in the television series Women's Murder Club.
Lt. Lindsay Boxer is portrayed by Angie Harmon on the television series Women's Murder Club. Lindsay is a crime scene investigator who can analyze a scene in seconds, however, she is disappointed at the fact that the prosecution takes as long as a few months or even years. She is the center point of the all-female group of experts she formed. Together, they aim to solve the latest homicides and be each other’s friend, as their personal lives get tangled up in their professional work.
