Dylan and Cole Sprouse practically grew up under the spotlight. At 8 months old, they appeared in a commercial for toilet paper and on the series Grace Under Fire from 1993 to 1998 playing one character, Patrick Kelly. As with many identical twin actors, the two have often played the same role, allowing more time for the character to be filmed. They gradually broadened their exposure as they got cast in the film Big Daddy, as Ross' son Ben on Friends and for starring on the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, where they appear as trouble-making twins who live at the Tipton Hotel.
As a result of the success of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, the Sprouse brothers are now starring in a spin-off show called The Suite Life on Deck while still being heartthrobs to preteens and teen audiences.

Disney's highly anticipated new series The Suite Life on Deck opened to much audience acclaim as it debuted on Astral Media's Family Channel. It was broadcasted on the network as part of a special Thanksgiving Day marathon, and it attracted record ratings. The Family Channel aired the first two episodes of the series back-to-back, and the viewers greeted the series with immense excitement.
Starring Dylan and Cole Sprouse, each episode of the sitcom beat out its previous record set last March 2008. The ratings followed the successful 2008 broadcast season for Family Channel, which emerged as Canada's number one pay-and-specialty channel in the country.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that they’re putting a fresh spin on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which is set at the Tipton Hotel. After a couple of years of adventures, the twins were sent to the SS Tipton, a luxury cruise liner in which the show will now be set. Tagged The Suite Life on Deck, the show will follow Zack and Cody along with London, who finds a new friend in Bailey Grant (Debby Ryan), a country girl from Kansas. The character Bailey replaces Maddie Fitzpatrick as actress Ashley Tisdale left to pursue other acting gigs.
The boys are also trading their indoor wardrobe for a more laid back look complete with longer bangs. Cole Sprouse admitted, “Sometimes we notice people on the street who look like us. Occasionally we see someone with the same hair. I don't know if they took it from us, but they've definitely got it.”

Over the year, Zack and Cody Martin have gotten into their share of mischief at The Tipton Hotel. On The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, they’ve been caught playing football in the lobby, they’ve hid a horse in the hotel, they’ve had parties that they hoped nobody would find out about, and they’ve both worked for Mr. Tipton. So what do you do when the Martin twins have run out of things to do at the hotel? Stick them on a cruise ship, of course! Next week, the USS Tipton will set said with the spinoff series, The Suite Life on Deck, and Zack, Cody, Carey, and London will all be aboard. Here’s a look at the new series, premiering Friday on The Disney Channel.

No one can blame Ashley Tisdale if she wants to spread her wings and take on more challenging roles now, right? With the success of both The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and High School Musical, the 23-year-old actress feels that it is time to move on with her life. She hasn’t told us what she is planning at the moment, but we already reported that she is ready to leave The Suite Life behind. Moreover, she is currently busy promoting the third of the High School Musical flicks.
In fact, Ashley Tisdale and HSM co-star Zac Efron recently headed out to the El Capitan cinema on Saturday to surprise some 1000 fans who were there to view the new sing-a-long version of High School Musical and High School Musical 2 and catch a sneak peek of the third installment, which is set to be released in October.

Next month, Disney’s Zack and Cody Martin will be leaving the Tipton Hotel and boarding the SS Tipton instead, a luxury cruise liner. The ship sails around the world, loaded with passengers and high school students who attend Seven Seas High. London is sent to the school because her father feels it’s her only chance to become a better student but she’ll be trading in her luxurious life for that of a common student. It will be a big adjustment when she ends up in a small room, sharing it with Bailey Grant (Debby Ryan), a country girl from Kansas. Ryan’s character will replace that of Ashley Tisdale’s, Maddie Fitzpatrick, who has been with the show since it first premiered in 2005. Sources close to Tisdale say: she couldn’t wait to get away from Disney!
