Kim Cattrall Wants Another Round of 'Sex and the City'

May 28, 2008

"Last night, I got about three hours of sleep, but it's also euphoria because it's been so well received," Cattrall, who plays sexually confident Samantha, told ExtraTV.com.  "The audience is so happy to see the girls back.  It was a blast to make and I hope we get to come back and make another."

Sex and the City: Officially Filming in New York

September 30, 2007

sex and the cityFans will be pleased to know that the highly anticipated Sex and the City movie is currently shooting in New York. Production, which started last Wednesday, has finally brought together lead stars Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) after the controversial fall out of some of its cast members, which reportedly delayed the progress of big screen version.

It has been three years since the television series, which followed the love lives of four professional women in New York, wrapped up its 6-year run in 2004.  The movie now serves as a follow-up on the wildly successful romantic comedy series, which is based on the novel of Candace Bushnell.

What Are They Up To? Sex and the City's Mario Cantone

August 26, 2007

sex and the cityAside from his standup comedy work, Mario Cantone was noted for his recurring role on HBO's Sex and the City.  He played Anthony Marentino, the event planner who became a close friend of Charlotte's (Kristin Davis) after styling her first wedding to Dr. Trey MacDougal (Kyle MacLachlan). He added comic relief to the series with his fast-paced and energetic humor, often giving bawdy advice to the conservative Charlotte.  Although the series has already concluded, the 47-year-old actor remains in the limelight with his upcoming comedy endeavors.
