The on-again, off-again relationship between Serena and Dan has never been the best thing about Gossip Girl. They simply can't compare to the mischievous duo of Chuck and Blair, and there were times during the S and D maelstrom that I wished they'd simply move on to other people for a while. The introduction of Aaron Rose -- Serena's artsy, polyamorous new boy toy -- initially seemed like a step in the right direction. Everyone needs a good rebound guy, even if that guy has a tween beard and a penchant for girlie scarves. Unfortunately, due to some serious miscasting, Aaron has become a plague on both Serena and Gossip Girl itself. Who do I have to blackmail to convince the writers to permanently ship Aaron off to the Hamptons?

Josh Schwartz was the youngest show runner in the recorded history of television when he created and took the reins of The O.C. on FOX. When that iconic teen drama came to an unsightly end, Schwartz quickly bounced back, bringing two series to network air at the same – NBC's Chuck and The CW's Gossip Girl. Both are highly regarded among critics and have reached some modicum of success (in the world of TV, making it to a second season is an accomplishment in and of itself). A screenwriter first and foremost, Schwartz has been hired to pen his first big movie project. FOX has brought him in to write (and possibly direct) the next X-Men film, tentatively titled X-Men: First Class.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday ever. Think about it. The holiday doesn't have any basis in religion, and there isn't any obligation to give gifts. Sure, you'll have to sweep the genocide of the indigenous peoples part of the holiday under the rug, but what better way to ease your conscience than to dull your senses with a turkey and pie-induced stupor?
Thanksgiving in real life is still more than a week away, but in Gossip Girl-land, it has already come and gone and imparted important life lessons to all and sundry. This year, the lesson learned was that snooping around in other people's business is bad and if you do such a terrible deed, you'll likely have to spend Thanksgiving alone, in a car, keeping tabs on your wife as she shares a happy, wholesome meal with her old flame.

Spotted: Blair Waldorf clashing with her mother's new man, Cyrus Rose. Last week's episode of Gossip Girl found B going head to head with Eleanor's new beau, who eventually managed to win Blair's heart by successfully out-scheming her. Also acting devious was Little J, who attempted to cut Agnes out of her business deal, only for the crazy model to retaliate by burning all of her designs. Those flames were much hotter than the chemistry between Serena and Aaron, which continues to be non-existent. Can someone please ship Boring Aaron off to Chino, or at least the New York equivalent?
Tonight's episode of Gossip Girl is a Thanksgiving extravaganza, which means it's time for some tasty turkey served up with a side of horrible parenting.

Connor Paolo plays the youngest member of the van der Woodsen-Bass blended family on Gossip Girl. Paolo's Eric is Jenny Humphrey's best friend, and quite possibly the only character in all of Gossip Girl with a clear head on his shoulders. Funny thing, too, because Eric van der Woodsen started out the series checked into a mental institution. Since then, he has come out of the closet, gotten a super-cute new boyfriend, Jonathan, and a new older step-brother to look up to in Chuck Bass.
Connor spoke to BuddyTV about some of the exciting new things that await his character on Gossip Girl, and about his off screen relationship with his fellow castmembers.

Gossip Girl season 2 came back for a second season full of OMFG moments, and no sophomore slump in sight.
The first season ended with relationships upended, Serena and Dan broken up, Blair and Chuck's romance thwarted, and Nate all by himself after his father flees the country. Season 2 picks up right before everyone's senior year in high school, after a hot, scandalous summer in the Hamptons. This season finds Serena and Blair at odds with each other, and there is always one scandal or another right around the corner.
