Meredith Palmer (Kate Flannery) is a middle-aged alcoholic and pornography addict on "The Office." She sometimes has bad ideas or is slow to understand what the other characters are talking about. At Dunder Mifflin paper distributor, she has worked as both an accountant and a supplier relations representative. Although Meredith is attracted to fellow employee Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), she repels him with her advances. Her absent-mindedness is her main contribution to the television show.
