Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) is a customer service representative for the Dunder Mifflin paper distributor company. She is the office gossip whose topics range from boys to clothes to co-workers and most of these conversations are typically one-sided and long-winded. Kelly is a target for Michael Scott's (Steve Carell) stereotypical comments because she is Indian American. She is also known for giving false information about her religion and heritage.
